The mystery of Origins - Theory of Evolution

Science speaks of a future of limitless possibilities for humanity. Our vast universe presents us with exciting and seemingly unlimited opportunities for exploration. In this final episode, we bring together theoretical science and theological thought, and revisit quantum theory, theoretical physics and multiple-dimension realities, while also discussing humanity’s quest for perfection and immortality.

Why is there a Universe? How did we get here? Why are we here? These questions have troubled the human mind for millennia. Religion sought to offer answers from the beginning of human thought; science joined the quest, though often finding itself at odds with religion. But are religion and science necessarily mutually exclusive? Can science withstand the same scrutiny to which religious claims are subjected? In this episode we discuss the Big Bang theory, particle physics, supersymmetry, multiverse, and the Higgs particle.

Living with Christ explores how followers of Jesus can experience real change by seeking the things above and embracing the new life He offers. Paul reminds believers to let go of harmful attitudes and actions, allowing Christ to renew their hearts. He calls the church to clothe itself with compassion, humility, patience, forgiveness, and love. By letting God’s Word dwell richly within and by relying on the Holy Spirit, Christians grow in strength and spiritual focus.

Colossians 2 points believers to Christ as the One in whom all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are found, calling them to remain steadfast in their faith. Paul expresses deep concern that persuasive false teachings could draw them away from the simplicity of the Gospel, reminding them that rituals or human traditions cannot complete them—only Christ can. He urges them to walk in Jesus as they first received Him, grounded, rooted, and knit together in love.
