Why trials? Worship God, not Jesus? Jesus' baptism-why? Self-defense killing? Daniel during fiery furnace. Evil mens' families killed-why? Does God use dreams?

Living with Christ explores how followers of Jesus can experience real change by seeking the things above and embracing the new life He offers. Paul reminds believers to let go of harmful attitudes and actions, allowing Christ to renew their hearts. He calls the church to clothe itself with compassion, humility, patience, forgiveness, and love. By letting God’s Word dwell richly within and by relying on the Holy Spirit, Christians grow in strength and spiritual focus.

Colossians 2 points believers to Christ as the One in whom all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are found, calling them to remain steadfast in their faith. Paul expresses deep concern that persuasive false teachings could draw them away from the simplicity of the Gospel, reminding them that rituals or human traditions cannot complete them—only Christ can. He urges them to walk in Jesus as they first received Him, grounded, rooted, and knit together in love.

Colossians 1 reveals God's desire to reconcile all His children to Himself, restoring them into a loving relationship with Him. Paul explains that Jesus brings peace through His sacrifice, transforms believers from alienation to holiness, and empowers them to grow through His indwelling presence.
